CRUSADE (Centre for Rural Systems and Development) works to support the most marginalized communities in Sholavaram and Minjur blocks in Tamil Nadu to create long lasting changes. CRUSADE, instead of providing basic services, aims to strengthen communities, pave way for women to come to the forefront, make local government accountable, and ensure that the community have a voice in society to access the services entitled to them.

CRUSADE brings in positive hope for differently-abled people and children in the areas it works. CRUSADE creates awareness on disability, supports children and adults with disabilities, enriches their knowledge on government schemes and equips them with facilities to reach their full potentials.
Enabling the poorest to prosper
CRUSADE makes conscious changes in the lives of the poorest. CRUSADE provides grants for income generating activities or to refurbish the shelter; build skills, promote savings; establish linkages with government and makes continuous efforts to alleviate poverty.
